Parent Teacher Association
“Behind every child that believes in him or herself, is a parent who believed in them first.”
As one of the only three non-profit, parent-owned schools in Kuala Lumpur, all our revenue and resources are focused on delivering the best education possible to each of our students. As a result, parents are integral to students' sense of belonging at ISKL, supporting and participating in various school programs.
Our active Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is engaged in activities ranging from organizing new parent receptions to school fundraising. The role of the PTA at ISKL is to support the work of the teachers and the school administration. Their aim is to work closely together in building a strong school community where all children benefit. This network of international parents is ready and willing to answer questions and offer support to new and returning families.
ISKL is very happening and there are a lot for our parents to get involved with, be a room parent, a grade level coordinator, participate to the varied cultural visits, discover new cuisine style with cooking class, be volunteer of one of the PTA-led events, there is something for everyone who is interested in getting involved.
Our list of activities is long, but we thought we would share with you one of ISKL Community's favourite: the International Fest 2018, enjoy our video-recap below.
