The Board of Directors is the governing body of ISKL. The 2020-2023 Board is composed of 14 members. Current members of the Board were either elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September 2020 for a three-year term or have been appointed since then to vacated positions due to Board member resignations. The term of the appointed members will be until the AGM of 2023. The 14th member of the Board is appointed by the Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Malaysia.
The Board meets regularly throughout the school year, both as a whole and in working committees. As ISKL is a non-profit school, the Board has a fiduciary responsibility to ensure that all resources are well-managed and invested in order to achieve ISKL’s Mission. The Board approves and upholds the Mission and Vision of the school and creates policies to support the guiding statements for the proper operation of ISKL.
