The Counseling team at ISKL believes in the ability of all students, and works to provide developmentally appropriate guidance and social/emotional support to assist students as they become independent. Counselors work with teachers to promote social emotional learning (SEL) that is embedded into the classroom and within the counseling curriculum. ISKL’s school counselors also advocate for every student and ensure that they have the skills and support they need to succeed within ISKL and beyond.
In addition to classroom lessons and grade-level advisory programs, our school-wide counseling program also includes topical workshops for students and parents, one-to-one and small group counseling, transition support and university admission, careers and beyond-school guidance.
