High School Learning Resource
High School Learning Resource

The High School Learning Resource program supports students with their academic, social, and behavioral skills growth. The High School Learning Resource specialists work collaboratively with grade-level teaching teams to ensure a high-quality core curriculum that is differentiated for the learning needs within their classrooms.
In addition to helping teachers through co-teaching, co-planning and co-assessing, Learning Resource specialists use a Multi Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) model, to review data and identify student needs with teaching teams and provide targeted research-based interventions.
These targeted interventions may target areas such as math gaps, content knowledge, organization, time management, self-advocacy and study skills.
The Panther Den

The Panther Den is available to all students for extra study time and support throughout the day. Students can sign up to see their subject area teacher or a learning resource specialist or simply take advantage of the quiet space to work. The den model encourages students to take ownership of their own learning.
