Amazing news to hear and see that the International School of Kuala Lumpur is so close to opening the doors of its new campus.
Malaysia Week is a fabulous outdoor learning experience for students and a defining feature of the International School of Kuala Lumpur’s (ISKL) Middle School.
Touch World Cup (TWC) will take place in Kuala Lumpur from April 28 – May 4, 2019. Five of ISKL’s alumni and one HS student will be participating in the event.
150 visiting athletes from international schools across the region battled it out on the pitches of ISKL in the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asia Schools (IASAS) Rugby (Boys) and Touch (Girls) Tournament…
Overall, I must say that the ISKL IB education helped to prepare me to study at an international university as exposure to students of different backgrounds
ISKL students, Jehseok Alex Kim (Grade 10) and Tasha Mohd Tajudin (Grade 11) have won third place at the Young Investors Society Global Stock Pitch Competition held in New York City.
A holistic education at ISKL extends well beyond classroom learning and includes a comprehensive program of “service learning” opportunities where students are encouraged to get involved and make hands-on, positive changes within local communities.
Dr. Ramsey, a renowned Choral conductor, and clinician is working with Choral groups in the High School and conducting the Middle School Choral Exchange this weekend in collaboration with students from the International School of Guangzhou. One of her sessions with ISKL faculty and students was entitled: ” FUNdamentals: Basics of Creative Choral Artistry: This session will focus on fundamental elements of the choral experience: tone, breath, rehearsal climate, vowels, vocalism, expression, self-reflection, and personal philosophy. The weekend concert is going to be a fantastic evening of great music!
The International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) hosted the 40th annual SEA Forensics and Debate Tournament on their Ampang Campus from February 8 – 10, 2018. The tournament is the longest consecutive event hosted by ISKL and was attended by the honorable YB Dato’ P. Kamalanathan Panchanathan, Deputy Minister of Education (MOE) I. This year the event grew to 14 participating schools and showcased the talent of nearly 200 students from Doha, to Hong Kong, and from public and private schools across Malaysia.
