On Friday, February 18, our Melawati campus rang in Chinese New Year with students, faculty, and staff decked out in brilliant red traditionally symbolizing ‘Luck’. The campus was alive throughout the day as students enjoyed seasonal foods, craft demonstrations, reading books on Chinese folklore, participating in art activities, and playing traditional Chinese games.

Our Ampang Campus was also buzzing with energy on Monday, February 20, with the sound of drums and cymbals as a troupe of Lion Dancers performed around during break time. The Chinese Lion Dance is fundamental to celebrating the Chinese New Year, and it is believed to bring good luck and happiness.

Thanks to all of ISKL students, faculty, parents, and staff who helped make both of these very special celebrations!
