Judging by the smiles and feedback, Scouts and parents thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learned a lot in the process. Favorites were the outlines of the new 50-meter Olympic-sized swimming pool and the beginnings of the high-tech elevated Orchestra Pit. Following their participation in the ISKL tour and presentations these last two weeks, twenty scouts are now completing their Architecture Merit Badge.
Our thanks to Dave Perrau, Director or Project Operations, for organizing both the presentation and campus tour for our Scouts, as well as to Ng Yiek Seng and Arzuan Abas of Veritas Architects for their architectural presentations and to Zaini Arrifin for demonstrating how the weekly drone film flights are done. ISKL Troop 818 meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm at the ISKL Ampang Campus and is led by Scoutmaster Alex Hawkes and other parent volunteers.
