School Uniform and Shop

All students are required to wear the ISKL school uniform, with each school division delineated by color.

ISKL’s uniform reflects the school’s commitment to a multicultural community, meets regulatory requirements for appropriate school attire, and supports student comfort in the Malaysian climate. It also accommodates religious or cultural attire, such as head coverings, in keeping with our values of inclusivity and belonging.

Panther Hut

Conveniently located on campus, the Panther Hut stocks ISKL uniforms, merchandise, books, school supplies, and other essentials.

Shirts

Pants, Shorts, and Skirts

ISKL uniform pants, shorts, and skirts are available for purchase from the Panther Hut, or they may be purchased from outside ISKL.

An ISKL uniform short, skirt, or pant:

Must reach an appropriate length. A safe metric is the length of the fingertips when the student’s arms are hanging freely.
Must be plain solid colors (all information available in divisional handbooks) (e.g., no piping, logo, Nike swoosh, team emblem, Adidas stripes, etc.).
Maybe an active lifestyle or casual style material.
May not be athletic or workout (lycra tights, spandex shorts, basketball shorts, etc.), nor denim.
Must have a hem, be rip and stain-free, and not see-through.

Devices Policies

All ISKL students have access to school-wide wireless internet and multimedia studios with a 1:1 device policy. Elementary and Middle School students are provided with school-owned iPads and MacBook laptops while High School students are required to purchase their own device.

Student learning is enhanced through access to technology resources (digital cameras and drones). The integration of educational technology into the curriculum, when appropriate and constructive, supports the educational needs of the individual or class.

Students are required to adhere to ISKL’s handphone use guidelines which have been developed to foster a safe, respectful, and distraction-free digital learning environment while respecting a family’s preferences for their child to bring their device to school.
