On Thursday April 13, 2017 the Prep Senior students from Melawati Campus took a field trip to the Grade 10 classes in High School. Students spent 30 minutes with Mr. Allum and his Grade 10 students learning about exercise, heart rate and how the heart moves oxygen around the body.

They then spent 30 minutes with Mr. Davis, a Grade 10 science class teacher where they learned about lungs and its functions by inflating a sheep’s lung, then comparing it to balloons as they built balloon rockets to launch across the room. It was a wonderful learning experience for both the Early Childhood students and their Grade 10 buddies and a chance to bring students from both campuses together.
