ISKL is proud to welcome our new faculty members for the start of the 2021-2022 academic year!

  • Helena Blair, ES Grade 5 Teacher
  • Holly Anderson, Middle School Learning Resources Teacher
  • Jorgen Hoeven, Director of Business Operations
  • Kathryn Godde, Prep Reception Teacher
  • Kayce (KC) Goh, HS Math and Learning Resources Teacher
  • Kelsey Giroux, G7 Humanities Teacher
  • Loreena Burns –  ES Interim Teacher
  • Michelle Byrom, MS/HS Health Coordinator
  • Stacy Stephens, Director of Learning
  • Taffanie Ketema, ES English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher
  • Tao Zhang, MS Chinese Teacher
  • Zachary Tyler, MS Science Teacher

The new faculty members comprise a combination of teachers for learning resources, mathematics, English as an Additional Language (EAL), Chinese language, science, robotics, and a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

In addition to our teachers, we welcome directors in our business operations, teaching, learning, risk management, and a coordinator for our health services.

We also reached out to the faculty to find out more about their personal stories.

ISKL’s experienced faculty are committed and dedicated educators who are passionate in their commitment to providing the best possible learning experience for our students. Our team of international educators are experts in their field and typically have more than nine years of teaching experience.

Additionally, over half of ISKL’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme teachers are also IB examiners, enabling students to benefit from their insights and practical experience.

ISKL’s focus on ongoing professional development ensures our faculty continue to be innovative in their approach to teaching and learning.
