The Development Fund
WHAT IS ISKL's DEVELOPMENT FUND?
We are grateful to the many individual and corporate donors for their support and generosity which not only assisted in the transition to our new Ampang Hilir campus, but also enabled us to create a greener, more sustainable, and welcoming campus for everyone.
Through those donations, we now have two beautiful green jungle walls to mark our Elementary School and Middle/High School entrances, and jungle trees providing welcome shade in the Coaches Garden.
Our talented alumni have painted two amazingly colorful and meaningful Welcome Walls along the ES and MS/HS spines, which tell ISKL’s story and showcase our links with the Malaysian environment and culture. A vibrant campus art map near the Early Childhood cafeteria, also designed and painted by ISKL alumni, is the new roadmap to the campus that uses rich symbolism to guide visitors.
The new Community Edible Garden, also funded by the Development Fund, is located at the heart of ISKL – the amphitheater. The garden provides the ISKL community with the opportunity to explore native herbs and Malaysia’s plants while building strong community connections and is an important venue for student learning.
Your gift to the Development Fund will help us to continue our work to enhance students’ learning environment as we strive to meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and cement our place as a leader in education in Southeast Asia.
