GLOBAL POLICY ON ADMISSIONS

In line with ISKL’s Constitutional mandate to serve primarily the children of expatriate families living in Malaysia (Art. IV), the Board holds the Head of School accountable for maintaining a fair and transparent admissions process. In particular, the Head of School shall admit candidates who can benefit from and contribute to our Mission and the School’s standards-based, university and college-preparatory curriculum delivered in the English language. Furthermore, the Head of School shall ensure that the rights of current students take precedence over those of candidates.

The Board holds the Head of School accountable for defining the academic, physical, emotional, social and behavioral criteria candidates must meet for acceptance into the School. In particular, the Head of School shall only admit candidates if sufficient space and resources are available to meet their academic, physical, emotional, social and behavioral needs.
