ISKL’s community spooktacular spirit was on display at this year’s Elementary School Trunk or Treat, where families gathered to play on the tradition of ‘Trick or Treat’ to create Halloween memories and enjoy some eerie fun.

Community spirit in action: ISKL’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) organized the annual Trunk or Treat.

Organized by ISKL’s friendly Parent Teacher Association (PTA) alongside a team of parent volunteers, this annual event saw ISKL’s campus drive-through turn into a showcase of ghostly wonders. Event Lead, Sana M., explains that “this year, our team focused on creating sustainable, recyclable decorations from reusable materials, with one goal in mind: to make kids smile”.  It is this dedication and focus on our Elementary students’ happiness (made all the more by the distribution of copious amounts of candy!) that brought the event alive with an atmosphere of spooky delight, fun, and laughter.

A showcase of imagination- students shared their creative costumes.

With over 500 children and their families participating in Trunk or Treat, the car trunks on display were a testament to the creativity and enjoyment of Halloween.  From eerie haunted houses to sparkling fairylands and candy-filled kingdoms, the event was filled with trick-or-treat-inspired music, themed games, and an excited buzz as our younger students explored the spooky experiences.

Elementary students embraced the Halloween spirit with their usual creativity and curiosity.

From fairylands to haunted hideouts, each decorated trunk reflected the creativity of ISKL’s families.

The commitment from parents was heightened by two entertaining dads who stole the show as a dancing dinosaur and a friendly clown. Sana summed up the event by telling us, “The positive feedback we received reminds us why we do this each year. It celebrates community, creativity, and connection in the most delightful way.”

ISKL extends a heartfelt thank you event Chair Sana M., the entire PTA Committee 2025–2026, and all the parent volunteers who made this such a fun event. It is experiences like these that make ISKL such a special community to be a part of and help so many families feel at home.
