High School Life

Parent Communication
A great partnership between home and school is essential for success at ISKL. In order to promote effective two-way communication, the High School employs various methods of communication using technology and parent conferences.
School Day
The school hours for High School are from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Each High School student will have 8 classes over 2 days and ends their school day at 3:00 pm. ISKL High School operates on an eight-day rotating schedule. This schedule provides 75-80 minute class times to enable students to delve deeply into content.
Busing Services
ISKL runs a safe and efficient bus service for the convenience of students and parents. A ride-along bus assistant monitors all routes. You can contact the school busing office at busing@iskl.edu.my or click here for more information.
Drive to School
Students who wish to drive to school must obtain permission from the Principal as well as written permission from his/her parents. Cars must have current ISKL car decals.
Panther Hut
Our on-campus Panther Hut sells general school memorabilia and uniforms. It is open on school days from 7:30 am to 3:45 pm.
Uniform
Students are expected to wear the appropriate school uniform. Only navy blue or white shirts and navy blue bottoms are allowed. Middle and High School students may purchase their own navy blue pants or shorts and do not have to buy them at the ISKL Panther Hut. Students are also required to wear a PE uniform, athletic shoes, and a hat for outdoor physical education classes. ISKL shirts, t-shirts shorts, skirts and PE uniform are available for purchase at the Panther Hut.
Identity Card
ISKL students are issued an ID card and must accompany students whenever on campus. ID cards are required for campus access, cashless pay system (Panther Pay), checking out books from the library and printing usage.
Dining Facilities
The on campus cafeteria and cafes are open on school days, operate on a cash and cashless (Panther Pay) basis, and offers a wide range of food and drinks including fresh fruit and vegetables.
Lockers
ISKL provides High School students with book lockers and combination locks. Students are reminded to keep their valuables inside their lockers and are encouraged not to bring valuable items unrelated to school activities.
