Advanced Academic Programs
ISKL provides two pathways for Grade 11 and 12 students; the full International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and the Pursuits Program which focuses on a targeted area of study and combines student-selected individual IB, Advanced Placement and High School Diploma courses. Access to two distinct pathways creates flexibility for every learner to pursue any number of post-secondary opportunities worldwide.
Both advanced academic programs provide students with access to an extensive range of IB and selected AP courses in preparation for university entrance. With either of these advanced academic courses on their transcript students are able to demonstrate that they have the aptitude to master university-level coursework. Students who choose to take AP or IB courses can earn credit, advanced placement, or both, for university entrance in North America.
The IB Diploma is recognized by universities globally and recommended for students wishing to study in Europe, Australia or Malaysia.
