Another Unforgettable Week for our High School Students to Grow and Connect through service learning, outdoor adventure, and cultural immersion.

Sepak Takraw is now considered to be the most significant sport in Malaysia. In fact, it is more recently referred to as its ‘national sport’. From its humble roots to its modern day recognition, the sport is realizing its reputation on the international circuit. 

ISKL’s iFest is a symbol of ‘unity’; an event that brings 5,000 community members from 60 nationalities together in a vibrant celebration of culture, food, performances. Led by parent volunteers, iFest showcases diversity, belonging, and true Panther spirit to embody what ISKL means.

To understand the meaning behind Malaysia’s national flower, the Bunga Raya, we must rewind to 1957. At the time the country’s independence was declared, the Government also announced that the nation deserved a symbol of identity; one that represented the people with authenticity and resonance.

ISKL’s Middle School use folktales, puppetry, drumming, dance, and movement to share a powerful message about the importance of values.

Malaysians consider the Durian to be so much more than the mighty fruit that it is. Fondly referred to as the ‘King of Fruits’, it is a symbol of Malaysian heritage and culture, signifying the pride of a nation.

Wesak Day is considered to be one of the most dominant festivals in the Buddhist calendar, where time is taken to reflect on Buddha’s teachings and what it means to be a Buddhist. Celebrated once a year on varying dates, based on the first full moon of the Lunar month of Vesakha.

ISKL hosted the 2025 IASAS MUN Conference, bringing together student delegates from across the region for three days of debate, diplomacy, and collaboration as they explored global issues and built a better future together.

Organized by ISKL’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA), the Elementary School Trunk or Treat brought families together for an evening of spooky fun, creativity, and community spirit, celebrating Halloween with laughter and lasting memories.

Malaysia is host to a varied population with each community celebrating their own cultural holidays. Schools in Malaysia offer its students and staff members days off to enjoy these festivities and are often integrated into their formal School holiday calendar.

The MS Dance Show, "Spirited," mixed dance with spooky fun! Entirely student-led, the five crews showcased their passion, teamwork, and creative visions through eerie and upbeat routines.

Helping ISKL parents better understand the digital landscape their children are navigating was a key focus at ISKL’s first Safeguarding session of the academic year.

ISKL's HS production of Mamma Mia! was an immersive, high-energy success, highlighting our community featuring 68 student performers, a live orchestra, and a dedicated tech and production crew.

ISKL's annual HS Talent Show featured over 70 students showcasing their amazing talent while developing life skills like leadership, teamwork, and organization.

ISKL’s annual HS Club Fair connects students with diverse clubs, fostering leadership, friendships, and personal growth, encouraging exploration, and supporting passions beyond academics.
