Wesak Day is considered to be one of the most dominant festivals in the Buddhist calendar, where time is taken to reflect on Buddha’s teachings and what it means to be a Buddhist. Celebrated once a year on varying dates, based on the first full moon of the Lunar month of Vesakha.
