Congratulations to the ISKL graduating Class of 2015! They have received over $2.2 million in scholarship funds and 88% have been accepted to at least one of their top three university of choices.
This year’s conference participants identified “waste” as their central challenge. Student “greenstormed” ideas to move forward, to increase awareness and try to reach those outside the proverbial “choir” that participated in the conference.
Recently, our Green Council played host to the Green Club from SriKDU. It was a very productive few hours with a variety of activities facilitated by our Green Council members and Sustainability Coordinator. Our visitors received an “eco highlight tour” of our Ampang campus and were duly impressed.
ISKL hosted the 37th Southeast Asia (SEA) Forensics, enabling the development of students in academic, artistic and cultural endeavors.
Middle School students donated over 60 fully supplied backpacks to students in our local community at the Anbu Ilham boys and girls homes.
Grade 7 Science team lead by Ms. Laurie Larsen and Mr. Dan Varney, hosted ISKL’s first ever Ecology Symposium. It was an excellent opportunity for our students to interact first hand with members of our global community on the issues related to sustainability.
