At the 2023 ISKL Graduation Ceremony that took place on June 3, families, faculty, staff, friends, the Administration, and the Board of Directors came together to celebrate 154 graduating students.
On March 11, 2023, ISKL’s Inspire Programs campaign brought in renowned Guest Conductor Frank Troyka from Texas, USA, to conduct a workshop and clinic at the Melawati Theatre.
Expert facilitators and educators from The Institute for Social and Emotional Learning (IFSEL), Nick Haisman-Smith and Joe Tchen, joined us for a special workshop on the importance of social and emotional learning, how it contributes to academic success, and how parents can nurture their own family’s well-being.
Two Malaysian students were awarded four-year scholarships to study at ISKL at a special award ceremony held on February 20, 2023
G12 student Haruka created a documentary called “Boundless,” which is part of her semester-long Pursuits project that looks at the life of a TCK in Malaysia through the lens of two ISKL students.
On January 26 and 27, 29 Elementary School (ES) students from Grades 4 and 5 participated in the musical production “Seussical Kids!” based on the works of children’s author and cartoonist Dr. Seuss.
ISKL will host the 43rd South East Asia Forensics & Debate Tournament on its Ampang Hilir campus from February 9-11 for three days of forensic fun.
The third in our series of Panthers of ISKL, focuses on ‘Community’ spirit. It incorporates personal documentaries of how individuals contribute to our community and beyond and work towards making the world a better place.
Both Robert B. Gaw Theater and the Melawati Theater were filled with showcases and concerts throughout the past semester, entertaining the community with school-wide musical performances.
Throughout Semester 1, our whole community, including Middle (MS) and High School (HS) students, faculty, parents, and staff, have taken part in book reviews to share their favorite novels.
