Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body for our school. Composed of 14 Voting Members of the Society, Members are all volunteers and are typically elected for a three-year term by the Society at the Annual General Meeting, although Directors can be appointed by the Board if a seat becomes vacant. One Board member is a US Embassy appointee. Board Members dedicate a significant amount of time, meeting regularly throughout the school year in full sessions and working committees to fulfill their role.
The Board's role is twofold: strategic oversight and financial stewardship. They approve and uphold ISKL's Vision and Mission, and create the policies that support the Guiding Statements for the proper operation of ISKL. They also carry a fiduciary responsibility, ensuring that all of ISKL’s resources are diligently managed and strategically invested to support the school of today and in the future. This commitment guarantees that every decision made is focused on the long-term benefit of the entire ISKL community.
