The comprehensive health program is a required quarter-long course for all middle school grades. Skills in decision making, communication, refusal and assertiveness are taught in the context of nutrition, relationships, drug and personal safety units and others. Each student will gain the knowledge and skillss necessary to make healthy choices in the areas of physical, social, emotional and mental health.
