We are inspired to write after author Debbie Argus visited us on February 28 & March 1.

Debbie is originally from Australia, but is currently living Malaysia. She will be sharing her Forest Friends Series of books with us. In these books, the Forest Friends learn about Trust, Bravery, Helping Others, Self Respect, Honesty, Teamwork, Learning and Sharing. The children can buy a set of eight books. The order form is below. Debbie will be sharing her stories and her writing process with during the visit. |

We had sucessful receptions for those 40 lucky students, who had their names drawn from the raffle of students who donated books for underprivileged children. Melawati donated SIX boxes of books for Debbie Argus' work with underprivileged children.

Debbis Argus Writing Incentive
We now have a "GREEN BOX" in the library to share your stories about someone special with Debbie Argus. She would like the students to find out something new about someone close to them and write a short story or poem. She will be reading and responding. At the end of the year all the students will be invited to special "Authors Reception" with Debbie Argus. |
