The Ampang Library will host the book exchanges for MS and HS students. This gives students the opportunity to exchange used books in good condition with other students.
These are the rules for the book exchange:
Each student can bring in 1 to 5 books appropriate for their grade level and exchange them with equal number of books brought in by other students. Textbooks, comic books, picture books, and magazines are not accepted. Students receive a bookmark that indicates how many books they can get on the day of the exchange.
Dates for the book exchange:
MS students can bring books they want to exchange to the library on November 16th, 18th, 19th and 22nd. The day for MS students to get the "new to you" book is on Tuesday,November 23rd.
HS students can bring books they want to exchange to the library on November 24th, 25th, 26th and 29th. The day for HS students to get the "new to you" book is on Tuesday, November 30th.
On the day of the book exchange the students bring in the bookmark they were given when they brought in books and use this to select the "new to you" book.
Any books not selected on the day of the books exchange will be donated to Habitat for Humanity for their book sale.
