Bus service is available for students. All buses have a bus monitor to assist with the supervision of students. Buses are contracted rather than owned by ISKL. Rates vary according to the distance traveled from school to home. Rates for all areas of Kuala Lumpur, regulations, and contracts are available from the ISKL registrar at the Ampang Campus. Contract forms are signed by parents during the enrollment process. Transportation is available to students participating in after school activities. Any deviation from the regular drop off point requires a written note from the parent.
For security and safety reasons elementary students should be accompanied by an adult to the bus pick-up location. In addition, the bus company has been instructed to drop-off elementary students only when an adult is present. If no adult is present, the bus monitor will contact the school for instructions. At the beginning of each year, families who sign-up for the bus services will receive a copy of the Busing Handbook which describes in detail policies and procedures related to busing.
