ISKL is excited to launch its 3rd Annual Fund Drive in 2011-2012. The Annual Fund Drive is a great opportunity for our community to come together to enhance our ISKL facilities and programs.
ISKL’s Annual Fund collects contributions throughout the school year for specific, nominated projects that are completed as soon as enough money is available. This means an improved experience for our ISKL students now.
Faculty members inform us of projects they’d like funded. Community members can decide to give to these specific projects or to give in a general manner toward any project in the greatest need.
The 2010-2011 Annual Fund raised an impressive RM385,000. Click here for details of last year’s fully funded projects.
Most importantly, I’ll give you more information on how you can make a contribution to this year’s Annual Fund. Please give generously, as all contributions support our students in their classrooms today.

A 9: The goal for 2010-2011 is to establish the Annual Fund as a transparent way to donate money to ISKL for specific projects or the General Fund, both of which would benefit current students during the current school year. The application process is identical to the PTA Grants process, making it as easy as possible for teachers and activity leaders to ask for assistance. Transparency for donors and accessibility for applicants are the principal goals for this year. Once the system is up and running, it will be our goal to fine-tune that process so that it can be continued in future years
Together with our Faculty Representative, Joseph Granzow, I'll be launching the Annual Fund Grant Applications for the teachers later this week. Once we have a good wish list in hand, I will update the community about what has been requested by our teachers to enhance the already excellent education our children are receiving at ISKL.
