Classmates from the year 2003, Kat Mitchel and Elizabeth Edstram, return to Malaysia the first time since graduation.  Kat, who is traveling throughout Asis for one year, will eventually teach English in China.  Elizabeth in her 2nd year of medicine at University of Leeds.

Meeting for the first time, Meghan Hollister '07 and Kenny Jones '10, share their memories during a visit to the Alumni office. Meghan is finishing at Cal. Poly in San Luis and continues with her photography. Kenny worked the US Embassy this past summer, is currently taking some online courses and will be entering the Air Force in the future.

Reihan Nadarajah '07, who is studying at Harvard, helps edit an alumni survey.  He fondly remembers SEA Forenscis and "A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum". 

Michele Manigart '00 who is employed at McKinsey & Company fondly remembers" Those hot 3pm practices under the Malaysian sun!"

Shiho Takagi '01 who is a school counselor at Senri International Schoolf Kwansei Gakuin in Osaka, Japan, reflects that IASAS, traveling and playing sports are her favorite memories.

Jim Shanks, former HS science teacher, Sharon Shanks '82, Susan Shanks '84 and Jim's grandaughters enjoyed a most welcome reception during their time in KL. They were able to visit campus three times to provide a historical perspective on ISKL and recapture strong memories from the 80's.

The class of 2008 was well represented by Josh Antao, Atiqah Azlan and Sara Nazim as they checked their accounts with Connie!!

Ben Johnson '00 recently orchestrated a small gathering of alumni circa 2000.  They visted the campus, met with former friends and teachers throughout the day. More pics are located on FACEBOOK ISKL fan page.

Alumni from the class of  '09, Stuart Hearns and Sean Lee, have distinct memories of ISKL. Malaysia Week and MS dances are high on Stuart's list of favorite memories and Sean has a huge list:  Malaysia Week, ISKL Jazz night, STUCCO, Intern'l Club, TRi-M and lunch time!!  Stuart is currently in the Austraillan military studying electronics and Sean is entering Emory Univ. to study business and Chinese.

The East Coast of the US is home to Tanvi Gupta '07 who is at UPenn and Adena Lavin '08 who is studying at Mt. Holyoke in western Mass.  The girls stay in touch with many ISKL and IASAS friends through FB, of course!!! Tanvi is touched by the warm greetings she recieved even after 3 years!!

Je Gun Lim '07 and So Hee Ahn '08 were on the Ampang campus recently.  Je Gun is studying at the Univ. of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and fondly remembers IASAS trips and spring break trips to Nepal and Europe. So Hee, who is currently at Boston U., highlights Malaysia Week as one of her favorite memories.

Akira Mastumoto '02 is currently working in Japan for Bosch.  He was visiting Kuala Lumpur to see his family and is also planning some vacation time in Thailand.

2009 Classmates, Anna, Larissa and Ria, continue to connect despite the logistical distance. Anna is heading back to Finland, Larissa is attending college in Birmingham (where she often sees Tom Tuite and Anti K.) and Ria has been working in retail, but is starting uni. in September.

Brothers Rowan '00 and Tom '93 Pearce have fond memories of Connie's curry puffs and '93 Rugby season. Rowan has recently moved from Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur and Tom still resides in Sydney.

Sumitra Sujanani '97 is currently a product manager and formally worked with Microsoft on the west coast. She and her husband have moved to the Boston area. She brought her husband to ISKL to share her memories with him.

Elisabeth Lemos '07is studying accounting at the University of San Fransisco and has fond memories of IASAS, her friends, teachers and choir!

James Baicoiouv '99 is currently residing in San Fransisco and is employed as a computer programmer. His parents have been reposted to Kuala Lumpur and he took the opportunity to visit the Ampang campus. The Spring break trip to China is amoung his favorite memories.

Stephan Seo '09 was recently in town to see his brother, Andrew, graduate. Stephane is currently enrolled in Indiana University.

Seke Jung '03 is currently working in the Seattle area after completing university in the same area. After visiting ISKL, he is heading to S. Korea for a visit.

Jon Morrison '02 and Andre Slatta '02 flew in from Dubai and Norway repectively . They attended the Hong Kong 7s rugby tournament and then stopped in KL to visit Andre's family.

Dave and Liz Straffon alumni faculty and parents return to KL after six years in Vienna. What a fun time catching up with them!

Ariz Ramli '04 'gave back" to ISKL by visiting with Mr. Noren Sahari's HS Eng. classes to share his views on life after high school and following your dreams. Jackie Blair '93 and her mother were on campus for the first time since the early 90's. Jackie is currently teaching English to middle school students in Seoul.

SEA Forensics is an opportunity for alumni to contribute. Leslie Muri, alumni parent and faculty, judged each day and is seen here presenting the "Anne Russell Award". Alan Mcclean, who is also an alumni parent, yet currently works at the school, was the director this year's tournament.

Gabby Aleman '11 is seen here with Maeve Dolle '11 who is studying in France. Spirit Week and Malaysia Week are included in Maeve's favorite memories and she remarks that ISKL's performing arts department is "so impressive and professional".

Faye Dolle, who attened ISKL in grades 2-4, is currently a student in France. She and her sister, Maeva, moved to France about two and half years ago, but are still in touch to their ISKL friends.

Gabe Weisert '90 recently visited the Ampang campus with his family and visited with many ISKL friends.

Joost Noordermeer '03 is currently studying water managment at the University of Twente (Netherlands). He fondly rremembers fabulous trips to Nepal and Vietnam and Ryan Carey's graduation speech.

Rahim is a yearly guest in his wife, Susan's, anthropology class. His local knowledge of politics is a valuable resource for Mrs. Rahim's students.

Sarah Paterson '98 recently stopped by the Ampang campus on her way from Bali to Singapore. Seen here with Brian Candler '97, she remembers many hours in the pool during swim season. She is currently living in London working as a translator.

Greg Kolkman '08, studying hotel management is currently in university in ICHM, Adlaide, Australia. His favorite memory of ISKL is how much the school offered in terms of sports and other activities.

Cathy Yule, alumni parent of Jessica and Alison, is a professor at Monash Universwity. She recently collaborated with MS science classes under the direction Mark Walsh and Kenny Peavy to conduct river studies in the local stream.

Safwan Zainal '05 recently graduated from Massey Univ. in New Zealand with a degree in sports management. He plans to return to that area to look for employment.

Anu Nassi '07 and her sister, Anna '09, were recent visitors to the Ampang campus. Anu is finishing her degree in six months at Vierumaki, Sports Institute of Finland and Anna is curently working in her older sister's cafe, Wild Garden in Finland. The whole family will be in KL for the holidays.

ISKL was the scene for a shopping event! Organized by the PTA, the bazaar is a festive event on campus.

Isopp Viet '08 was a recent visitor the Ampang campus. He spends muchof his time Thailand where he is making new firends and enjoying the food!

Debbie Antao '04 is currently between employment opportunities as she prepares to head off to Fairbanks School District as a learning support teacher to high school students. She and her mother have been spending some time in India, but will be here for part of the upcoming holidays.

Nodoka Suzuki '10, a recent graduate of high school in Perth, Australia fondly remembers her MS teachers and her involvement in JV Basketball. She is in town visiting her parents and younger brother who is currently an ISKL student.

Thomas Mutschler '90 notes that his favorite memory of ISKL is his involvement with IASAS. He is currently working as a historian in the university library at Friedrich Schiller University Jena.

Rasmus Platz '94 stopped by the school with his family during a holiday from the cooler weather in Denmark. He is currently working as a business manager for Dong Engery in Denmark. While in KL, he was able to visit his old neighborhood which brought back many memories.

Sebastian Beyer '07 who attended the University of Technology of Dresden, will be going into the civil service for nine months followed by the opportunity of teaching English. He comments that he misses the learning environment at ISKL and participating in IASAS.

Hiro Maekawa '05 is finishing his studies at the Intenational School of Music in KL and working as a freelance musician. This semester he is doing an intensrhip arranging music for HS bands and organizing Jazz Workshops. He is seen here with Otto Von Nostitz '03 and another ISKL alumni.

Ami Dawe '05 and her mother, Nancy, enjoyed some time together in KL and Langkawi before Ami had to return to UBC in Vancouver.

Mrs. Otsuka, Arisa and Aguri paid a visit to the alumni office during the first few weeks of school. Arisa is currently studying at Nara Women's University and reports that she her favorite memory of ISKL is her time playing softball. Aguri '09 is planning to study psychology at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
