Here are some alumni who have visited the school.
Craig Stevenson ('03) |
 |
Craig is back in KL for two weeks to see his sister, Jen ('05), graduate. |
Chris "Doogie" Benjamin ('97) |

Matt Smith (L) with Doogie |
Chris was the rugby team's scrum half and captain as well as setter on the volleyball team. Doogie is currently working as an environmental engineer in Melbourne, Australia and he's looking to be posted overseas. |
Darren Long ('01) |
 |
Darren is back at ISKL working in the Middle School PE department as part of his university degree. He will be at ISKL for the rest of the semester and during summer school. |
Miranda Kozman ('04) |

|
Miranda Kozman graduated last year and is now attending the University of Michigan where she is studying linguistics. She hopes to work at an international school someday (maybe ISKL?). Miranda will be helping out with the choir while she's in KL and encourages everyone to attend their concert Friday, May 27. |
Marta Nixon ('04) |
 |
Marta Nixon, who left at the end of the 2003/2004 school year, came back to visit ISKL for two weeks in March. She is currently finishing grade 12 at a school outside of London. During her visit Marta had a chance to see some friends before leaving with some of them for spring break. Although she's enjoying her time in England, Marta misses the warm Malaysian climate (England is "too cold") and her old teachers. |
Ben Bisset ('02), Laetitia Oliveres ('04), Matt Smith ('03) |
 |
Former students Ben Bisset, Matt Smith (both of whom are working at ISKL for a semester - Matt's profile is available here) and Laetitia Oliveres were on campus all day Saturday, March 29 2005 to shoot scenes for a movie written by ISKL faculty member Grant Venables. Directed by Matt, the yet unnamed movie explores the nihilistic futility of the main character's everyday existence by emphasizing the inherent limitations posed by language. "Man A's" inability to honestly communicate with his co-workers and 'friends' means that he lives in a state of intense loneliness and isolation. Matt and Grant plan on submitting the completed movie to a film festival in Japan. Ben played the role of 'Young Eager Guy', a naive college-grad trying to impress his older co-workers while Laetitia was the film's sound engineer and boom operator. |
Jude Anderson ('98) |
 |
Jude Anderson is back in KL after living and working in Australia since his graduation in 1998. He will be attending the reunion in April. |
Azusa Shiraki ('87) |
 |
Asuza recently returned to KL after travelling extensively throughout Asia and the Caribbean. Since graduating from university in 1995, Azusa has lived and worked in Thailand, the Maldives, Micronesia, Bali, Beijing, and the Cayman Islands. She now resides in KL and works with Pacific Dome, a dive travel company that specializes in dive packages, dive courses and is a distributor of Pinnacle wetsuits. |
Ashley Kissman ('05) and Jon Wolsey ('05) |
 |
Ashley and Jon were in town from March 12th to the 19th and spent several days at school. Ashley lives near Detroit, Michigan while Jon is in Toronto, Ontario. Many of their old friends still attend ISKL and while they were visiting it was almost as though they had never left. Both Ashley and Jon helped out with several after school activities and gave up their saturday morning to volunteer for a track exchange. |
Carol and Garry McElroy (at ISKL 1980 - 2000) |
 |
Carol and Garry stopped by the school on March 18. Carol taught for 20 years at ISKL in the math and technology departments, while Garry spent 12 years at the school teaching biology, math, phsyics as well as serving as head of personnel. He was also heavily involved as a coach in several varsity sports. Carol and Garry's three children, Kevin ('82), Dana ('91) and Mark ('97) all graduated from ISKL. |
