at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Malaysia

Our facilities include comfortable
air conditioned classrooms. All classrooms (except
science labs) are carpeted. The class size ranges
from 16 - 22 students per class.
Art Studios
Art facilities include several large art rooms, a darkroom, a publications/graphics lab, an outdoor batik area and a ceramics studio.
Bus Transportation
ISKL contracts a dedicated fleet of buses that provides students with safe and comfortable transportation between their homes and both campuses.
Canteens
Indoor canteens provide delicious and nutritious meals for students daily. A set lunch is available at the Elementary School. Students in the Middle and High Schools get to choose from a variety of menus.
Classrooms
Our facilities include modern, comfortable air-conditioned classrooms. All classrooms (except the science and art labs) are carpeted. Class sizes range from 16 – 22 students per class.
Climbing Wall
Both the Ampang and Melawati campuses boast an extremely popular climbing wall. The benefits of climbing are numerous. Students develop physical fitness, self-confidence, teamwork and leadership.
Clinics
Both the Ampang and Melawati campuses have health clinics with full-time nurses. Care is provided for students who become ill, are injured or need treatment and/or medical administration during the school day. Computer Labs/Technology
Computer labs equipped with state-of-the-art Macintosh computers and PCs can be found on both campuses with internet and network access available on every computer.
Technology use is infused throughout the school. Computer resources include multimedia studios at Elementary, Middle and High School, a Middle and High School visual arts lab, a High School music/midi studio, and a 2-1 student- laptop ratio in grade 4-12. We are primarily an Apple school. Other digital resources include SMART Boards, document cameras, digital video and still cameras, digital voice recorders, and school-wide access to wireless and the internet.
Covered Recreational Areas
Both campuses has several sheltered areas for basketball, tennis, volleyball and badminton.
Dance Studio
The Ampang campus has an attractive dance studio which is home to many of our ballet, jazz and hip-hop dancers in Middle School through High School.
Drama Studio
A drama studio used for rehearsals, workshops and instructional space is located at the Ampang campus. This venue is also used for one-act play performances and as a technical theater lab by our talented thespians.
Fitness Center
A fitness center is located on the Ampang campus. It offers strength and fitness classes to High School students, in which students develop individual fitness plans. There are tremendous health benefits, and many students, as well as adults in our community make use of this facility.
Libraries
A library is located on each campus with a total collection of over 55,000 items, including a wide range of periodicals, reference materials, encyclopedias, magazines and audio- visual educational aids. A librarian and library staff are available on each campus to assist students.
Music Rooms
The Melawati campus has general choral and band classrooms plus a large group performance facility. The Ampang campus has choir rooms and band/orchestra facilities for both Middle and High School students involved in music. Practice rooms provide access to pianos, guitars, amplifiers and microphones.
Science Labs
There are several fully equipped science labs at both campuses, each carefully modified to suit the needs of the courses being taught. The Ampang campus labs are linked to a highly equipped science preparation room, operated by a senior lab technician and assistant.
Swimming Pools
There are 25m swimming pools on the Melawati and Ampang campuses. Students in Prep Junior through Grade 12 have scheduled swimming lessons in their physical education classes. Swimming is also an after-school activity at these two sites.
Theaters
There is a theater at each campus. The Ampang theater has a seating capacity of 560. Both theaters are air-conditioned and are used for many drama productions, dance performances, musical ensembles and assemblies.
Wireless Internet
There is wireless Internet coverage available on both campuses.
